About me

My Philosophy

As and integrative, humanistic counsellor, I incorporate three core models; Person-Centred, Gestalt Therapy and Transactional Analysis. These approaches have the same humanistic belief that every person has the capacity to reach their full potential, and each one highlights that importance of the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, and places the emphasis on respect and unconditional acceptance of the person as a human being.

I do not believe in a 'one size fits all' approach and aim to tailor my therapeutic and counselling skills to suit the needs and goals of the individual.

I have worked with people from a range of different backgrounds and cultures, looking for emotional support with a varitety of different issues.

I have worked as a volunteer counselling for the Crime Reduction Initiative (CRI) service PATCHED in Brighton, for anyone affected by another's usbstance misuse, and currently work for the free counselling service, Pavillions, in Hove.

Certificate in Counselling Skills (2012)
